Painted using my own photography from Goodwood Revival 2023 as a reference, ‘Revival Sunday’ depicts a momentary interaction between a couple before setting off for a track parade in their Aston Martin DBR1. It captures the early evening September sun, as the historic Revival weekend begins to wrap up for another year.

About
MY WORK
Hello, I’m Sarah; an automotive fine artist based in the UK. I love painting iconic automobiles in a way that showcases their captivating beauty, presence and unique characteristics. Often introducing figurative subject matter, I enjoy creating mood and narrative within my automotive art. Through this visual storytelling, I endeavour to create contemporary works that spark intrigue and entice the audience to gaze a little longer.
Heavily influenced by my interests in graphic arts, fashion, history and vehicle design, my work seeks to celebrate engineering excellence as well as emotional connection. There is a strong emphasis on light, form and atmosphere in my paintings. Whether portraying a classic car steeped in history, or a modern performance supercar, I attempt to blend technical precision with expressive mark making, allowing realism and artistry to coexist.
MY BACKGROUND
As for my background, I studied fine art and graphic design, later graduating university with a First Class Honours degree in Graphic Communication, and going on to enjoy a graphic design career specialising in illustrative branding and packaging. Paper engineering and prop-making also became a niche of mine, where I have had the pleasure of being commissioned to make paper-crafted props for the retail displays of luxury fashion houses that I greatly admire.
HOW WE GOT HERE
Somewhere along the way, I rediscovered my adoration for cars; most likely through growing up surrounded by a family of car enthusiasts, but also through repeatedly attending Goodwood Revival, where I’d be in my element photographing and soaking up the addictive chaos of one of the most glamorous and nostalgic events in the motoring calendar. The fashion, the cars and the completely immersive nature of this historic event, hugely inspired me to pick up a paint brush again.
I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
